Upon arrival, I was greeted warmly by the manager, who made it clear that hospitality was a priority. The room was spacious and well-equipped, offering a nice view that enhanced my stay. The onsite restaurant presented an extensive breakfast menu that was slightly slow in service, yet the generous portions compensated for the wait. I opted for the continental breakfast, which featured fresh items, providing a comforting start to my busy day. The highlight of my dining experience came with a specially prepared evening meal. Despite my late scheduling, the kitchen accommodated me seamlessly, ensuring I enjoyed a satisfying roast dinner. The ambiance of the restaurant, paired with great music, created a relaxed atmosphere that encouraged lingering a bit longer than planned. The Old Lodge embraces a commendable culinary approach, making it a worthwhile stop for those seeking both comfort and a thoughtful dining experience.
